Over 600 people walked, danced and jogged around Coventry city centre to raise money for The Myton Hospices at this year’s Glow in the City!

As night fell over Coventry on Saturday 10th March an army of neon-clad fundraisers descended upon Coventry University’s Square One venue for this year’s Glow in the City event!

Our events team had been watching the weather forecast very carefully the week before the event, just in case the snow decided to make a second appearance – thankfully there were no repeats of our rescheduled Santa dash – and the evening was a great success!

Over £27,000 has already been raised by our amazing supporters who took part, with plenty more sponsorship still coming in.

This year we’re hoping to raise £70,000 which is the running cost of our Inpatient Unit at Coventry Myton Hospice for two weeks!

We are sure you will join us in saying a huge thank you to our amazing volunteers on the night, Matt Print for getting you all warmed up, our wonderful face painter Sooz, and Todd from Spaghetti Agency for being our brilliant MC! Also, a big thank you to our good friends at Crowngate Construction and MKM Building Supplies for sponsoring this year's Glow in the City.

A huge thank you to all of the volunteers from Coventry University who were there to take photos on the night.

You can check out some of the photos from the night below, and we would love to see any pics that you took too so please share them with us and tag us on social media @MytonHospices.

To see all of the photos that we currently have from the evening please click here. Once we have the full set of photos we will be releasing these on our Facebook Page head over and give us a like to increase your chances of seeing the photo album first.

We have loads of exciting events coming up, such as our Walk for Myton on Sunday 13th May. Check out our events page for more information – we would love to see you there!
