What will it look like?

Artist impression of new hospice

The modern single and two storey construction, which was granted full planning permission in December 2004, is designed so that all patient rooms are on the ground floor overlooking the landscaped gardens and River Sowe. The quiet and peaceful location will be further enhanced by sympathetic landscaping, thus providing a peaceful and appropriate environment for our patients and their families. A canopied entrance will also ensure protection from the elements for patients, upon arrival and departure.
