Local pupil Oscar Tworney dresses up to raise money for The Myton Hospices

Over the years, our supporters have come up with many weird and wonderful ways to raise money for Myton but Oscar Tworney’s fundraising attempts are especially unique and have also proven very successful.

Oscar, who is a pupil at St Margaret’s School in Whitnash, is a big fan of David Walliams and decided to dress up as the protagonist from Walliams’ popular children’s book, The Boy in the Dress, for this year’s World Book Day.

Throughout the annual charity event, Oscar asked people to make donations to Myton and managed to raise £520!

We are so impressed and grateful that Oscar has raised such an incredible amount of money for Myton. We can’t wait to see who he dresses up as for World Book Day next year!

We would like to say a huge thank you to Oscar for choosing to fundraise for Myton this World Book Day.
