There are 2 ways to support The Myton Hospices via payroll; both are effective ways to give to us and which scheme is chosen depends on which is best for your company
With this scheme the deductions are made directly from net pay and because there are no tax implications they are eligible for Gift Aid. This means that when you sign up to Payroll Giving you will be asked to sign a Gift Aid form, allowing us to reclaim the tax that you will have already paid on the money you are donating to us – this is at no extra cost to you.
Once the deductions have been made they are sent directly to us at agreed regular intervals (usually monthly).
With this scheme deductions are made from gross pay and instead of signing a gift aid form to allow us to claim back the tax we ask you to add it onto your donation to us – the actual cost to you is the same, we just automatically get the tax - we don’t have to claim it. Once the deductions are made they are sent to a Government approved agency that sort out all of the tax issues on our behalf and then send the donation onto us.
