The Myton Hospices and The Shakespeare Hospice host Before I Die Wall for Dying Matters Awareness Week

Enjoy every day”, “ride an elephant”, “go to Glastonbury” and “travel the world” are just some of the hopes people added to our Before I Die wall with The Shakespeare Hospice yesterday.

For the past couple of days, both Myton and The Shakespeare Hospice have been inviting the public to share their dreams and aspirations as part of Dying Matters Awareness Week, a national campaign which aims to encourage people to talk more openly about dying, death and bereavement.

We joined forces with The Shakespeare Hospice to host a ‘Before I Die’ wall at Morrisons in Stratford upon Avon.

The wall is designed to encourage the people of Stratford to share what they hope to achieve or complete before they die.

We hope the wall has encouraged the public to talk more openly about death and dying and consider how they may hope to be cared for in the future.

Myton and Shakespeare Hospice would like to thank both Homebase in Leamington Spa and Murcom for generously donating the resources for the Before I Die wall as well as Morrisons in Stratford upon Avon for kindly allowing us to host our wall at their store.
