An Occupational Therapist based at Myton Warwick provides a service for patients who attend both Warwick and Rugby Myton Hospice.,
The Occupational Therapist works closely with the multi-professional team and is able to assess your functional ability in such areas as washing, dressing, walking and kitchen activities. In this way she can identify with you the assistance you may need at home and provide the aids that may help increase your independence.
The Occupational Therapist works closely with our Discharge Liaison Co-ordinator and Social Services organising care packages and provision of equipment. She is also able to carry out follow up visits at home where appropriate.
