Spiritual Care

Warwick Multifaith roomThe Chaplain is committed to giving spiritual care and support to all those who have contact with the Hospice. This support is offered regardless of denomination, culture or ethnicity.

Our Chaplain is an ordained Anglican priest and is assisted by volunteers from a variety of faiths and denominational backgrounds.

There is a multi-faith room (chapel) that is open at all times for use by anyone who feels the need for private reflection. All faiths are welcome to conduct their services in the chapel. This can be arranged through the Chaplain who would also be pleased to facilitate such events. Your own Minister or faith leader is welcome to visit you at any time.

Christian Services

  • At least once a week there is a service of Holy Communion available to all. This is usually held on different days and can also be administered at the bedside.
  • A monthly Ecumenical Service of Remembrance and weekly Service of Reflection are held for the family and friends of those who have died. Please see the Patients’/Visitors’ notice board for dates and times.
  • Special services, anniversary blessings, prayers and ward communions are available on request.
  • A Roman Catholic Priest visits on Thursday afternoons.

Suggestions as to how the chaplaincy may better serve the Hospice community are always welcome.
