The Palliative and End of Life Care Workshop is for Health Care Assistants working in health or social care that focuses on caring holistically for palliative and end-of-life patients.

- The role of the healthcare assistant in recognising and alleviating symptoms in a palliative or end-of-life patient.
- The importance of evidence based, high quality, oral care – practical skill-based session.
- Skin care and the management of pressure ulcers and moisture damage through a palliative approach.
- The importance of self-care and reflective practice.
