In memory of Ben Whelan

Dad, son, husband, brother, uncle, teacher, friend and inspiration to so many.

After being diagnosed in January 2014, Ben had a difficult 14 month battle with Cancer. On the 14th March 2015 his pain finally came to an end after a courageous fight, on a peaceful afternoon at Myton Hospice surrounded by his loved ones.

There are no words to describe how amazing and kind the staff were to Dad at Myton Hospice, Warwick. The Hospice allowed Ben to spend his last weeks surrounded by his friends and family, in a beautiful environment comforted by inspirational nurses and staff.

Myton Hospice and the individuals that worked there made Ben’s last moments so special, and there is no value that can be put on the wonderful work they do.

We know that Ben would have wanted the Hospice to get the recognition they deserve, and so we ask for any flowers / donations to be given to Myton Hospice.

Always in our hearts, and finally resting in peace xx
