My Dad Stan Bullimore passed away on the 26th April 2015 aged 64 at Myton Hospice after a 9 month illness from lung cancer. He left behind his wife Diane, children Lee and Fay, daughter in law Su, and grandchildren Chloe, Liam and Emma and Charlie the dog.
He was one of the bravest men we have ever met. The strength he showed us threw out his illness was remarkable. We are so proud of him and the fighting spirit he had while trying to beat this illness. He was one of the kindest, thoughtful, smartest, most generous person who always put his family before himself.
We are all devastated beyond words that he has gone and we will always miss him. We feel he is still with us looking over us as his family was everything too him. The care he received at Myton Hospice was outstanding. There was nothing they wouldn’t have done for him. They made him feel so safe and secure which was very important to him as it was to us.
The staff were amazing and we were able to be with him 24/7. He passed away peacefully in his sleep with his wife Diane right by his side which is what he would’ve wanted.
