A tribute fund to remember and celebrate the life of this kind hearted, generous and extremely brave lady.
Cis volunteered for Myton for over 30 years and during this incredible amount of time, she became an inspiration to all of us as well as a very special member of our team.
She helped out in numerous areas including our Day Unit, Chaplaincy and Fundraising. In addition to this, she volunteered her time at other local charities including the Volunteer Bureau in Stratford. In 2012, her charity work was recognised with an award from the Mayor of Stratford and in Cis’s wonderful unassuming style, she did not want a fuss made of this accolade!
Always one to be active, if she wasn’t undertaking her volunteering work then she would normally be found in her beautiful garden tending to her assortment of vegetables and flowers or in the kitchen baking some of her trademark jam, marmalade, jam tarts or fruit loaf!
Cis passed away on Friday 27th March at Warwick Myton and will be deeply missed by everyone who was fortunate to know her.
In Cis’s memory, her family have requested this tribute fund be set up. This will enable more patients to be cared for in the future and carry on the wonderful legacy that Cis has left behind.
