Our expanding network of charity shops play a significant role in raising funds for the services we provide for the people across Coventry and Warwickshire. We have an exciting opportunity for a Shop Assistant at our Hertford Street shop.
We are looking for a creative and flexible individual to support the Shop Manager in all aspects of retailing and work with a team of volunteers to ensure the smooth running of the shop at all times, including acting up when necessary to cover annual leave and rostered days off for the Shop Manager. The successful candidate will be self-motivated with excellent organisational skills.
Flexible working days available and opportunities to pick up extra days in our other shops across Coventry and Warwickshire.Working in a charity shop is extremely rewarding. You make new friends with the people you work with and they become a support system to you. The skills you learn are also transferable – using the till, talking to customers and working with the stock. And as a teenager it’s often hard to find work because you don’t have experience so volunteering at a charity shop is a great way to learn the skills you need in other jobs. I started as a volunteer and here I am now as manager!
