At The Myton Hospices, we provide specialist care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses, and their loved ones, from the point of diagnosis to end of life. We are a much-loved and well supported charity, at the heart of our community. We have three hospices, a range of community services, and 25 charity shops in Coventry and Warwickshire.

About the role

Are you looking for a rewarding career, working from home and making a real difference to people’s lives? Do you love talking to people? Do you have a strong sales background? You could be just the person we’re looking for to join our successful Charity Telephone Fundraising Team.

As a Charity Telephone Fundraiser, you’ll recruit new members to our fundraising lottery or regular giving via telesales, and occasionally support other departments’ telephone engagement activities.

This role will support our work by bringing in a vital source of regular income; our lottery funds the care of 1 in 4 of our patients.

This is a hybrid working role, with mostly home / remote working and some office time in Coventry, Warwick and/or Rugby.

About you

To join our team as a Charity Telephone Fundraiser, you will need:

  • Telesales experience including taking personal details such as bank details
  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and listening
  • The ability to work unsupervised and take initiative
  • An interest in our charity’s work and a desire to maximise our financial support

Other roles you might have experience of could include: Telesales; Call Centre; Telemarketer; Telemarketing; Sales Executive.
