The Myton Hospices provide high quality specialist palliative care for adult patients with progressive, life limiting illnesses, and also support the close families and friends of those who access our services.
We have a rare and exciting opportunity to offer for an exceptional Complementary Therapist to join our growing, dynamic and friendly Complementary Therapy Team.
A key aspect of this role will be to assist and support the Complementary Therapy Lead, to develop, deliver and maintain a safe, high quality Complementary Therapy service to patients, that reflect the Hospice philosophy, values and supports the Myton Strategy. The role will include providing advice and guidance about Complementary Therapies, carry out therapeutic sessions, operational support and liaising with patients and other services users.
You will also work in close collaboration with members of the multi-disciplinary team in holistic symptom management offering information about the additional support Complementary Therapy can offer.
Applicants should have at least three relevant Complementary Therapy qualifications at Diploma level along with excellent IT and organisational skills. Previous experience of Complementary Therapy within Cancer and/or Palliative care would be an advantage.
