About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Nursing Assistant to join our Myton at Home team. The Myton at Home service provides expert and compassionate care to patients in their own homes, at a crucial time in their lives.

This role involves night shifts as a lone worker in patients’ homes in Rugby, Warwick and Leamington, between the hours of 10pm and 7am, Wednesday to Friday, and occasional shifts in our Inpatient Units.

Our Myton at Home Nursing Assistants:

  • Assist patients with personal and emotional care
  • Assess and respond to patients’ needs
  • Work collaboratively and liaise with other external partners, such as the Rapid Response night team, to deliver holistic care
  • Communicate sensitively with patients, families and caregivers
  • Maintain electronic patient records

About you

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • An NVQ / RQF / QCF Level 3 qualification (essential)
  • Experience of caring for patients and families with life-limiting / life-threatening conditions
  • Understanding of safeguarding
  • Compassion
  • Communication skills
  • UK driving licence and ability to travel to patients’ homes in Rugby, Warwick and Leamington
  • The right to work in the UK
