At The Myton Hospices, we provide specialist care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses, and their loved ones, from the point of diagnosis to end of life. We are a much-loved and well supported charity, at the heart of our community. We have three hospices, a range of community services, and 25 charity shops in Coventry and Warwickshire.

About the role

We are looking for a Retail Development Manager to develop and review our eCommerce platforms, manage stock acquisition and merchandising, and pursue new business opportunities to increase our income.

As Retail Development Manager, your role will include:

  • Achieving targets
  • Managing budgets
  • Implementing new initiatives such as pop-up shops and events
  • Managing the sourcing and merchandising of both new and donated goods
  • Line managing the eCommerce Manager

This role will support our work by growing our retail income, which funds the care of 1 in 4 of our patients.

This role will be office-based in Coventry with regular travel.

About you

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience of online retail and merchandising
  • Experience of sourcing and buying new goods for re-sale
  • Leadership skills
  • The ability to interpret data and use it to make commercial decisions
  • UK driving licence and a vehicle for work
  • The right to work in the UK

The role involves travel in Coventry and Warwickshire, including transporting goods.

We will conduct an enhanced DBS check, including the children’s barred list, because the role involves working with volunteers aged under 16.
