To deliver our services costs us £9.6 million every year so come and join our Retail team and assist us in raising vital funds whilst having pride in working for an amazing local charity. The money you raise in this role will enable us to continue to provide amazing care at our Hospices across Coventry and Warwickshire.

We are looking for a Shop Manager to join our Retail family working within our Cheylesmore Shop. Supported by the Assistant Shop Manager you will be responsible for delivering the retail targets, recruiting and managing volunteers and running all aspect of the shop. This will include supporting your team in promoting our Myton lottery, driving up gift aid, selling greetings cards and through establishing links within the local community seize on opportunities for your shop to increase income.

We are amazed by the volume of donations we receive from the public therefore this is a physically demanding role at times lifting and sorting donated items for sale.

Working to your Area Manager you will be supported in achieving the most out of your shop resulting in essential funds for patient care whilst gaining job satisfaction.

I was a shop manager in charity retail previously and also a department/store manager in food retail. I am now a senior relief manager so I get to travel across Coventry and Warwickshire to cover shops whilst managers have days off and holidays. I also support managers if they need to focus on a particular area of there shop and also new store openings. There is a great variety in whatever position you are considering at Myton. It is hard work but great job satisfaction seeing the money we raise support local people and their family’s when it is needed most.’
