Become part of The Myton Team and help us to make a difference…

About the role

We have over 800 amazing volunteers and without them our work wouldn’t be possible. We are growing our Volunteering Development team and looking for Volunteer Coordinators to join us.

Volunteer Coordinators will work within our Hospice-based volunteer teams, supporting our patient-facing, reception, coffee shop and estates volunteers. You will support these teams to recruit, develop, engage and retain volunteers, ensuring a positive volunteering experience.

As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will be based at either our Coventry or Warwick Hospice, but regular travel will be required across all three of our sites.

Full time and part time hours are available, which will usually be within office hours from Monday to Friday (+ occasional weekends or bank holidays).

About you

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Working knowledge of volunteering best practice
  • Experience of recruiting and supporting volunteers or staff
  • Experience of working alongside teams to support and engage volunteers fully

Although not essential to the role, experience of supporting volunteers in a healthcare setting would be useful.

You will be based at either Coventry or Warwick Hospice, but regular travel will be required to our shops across Coventry and Warwickshire and our Rugby Hub, so you must have a full driving licence and a vehicle for work.
