About the role

Are you an enthusiastic and motivated person, with excellent interpersonal & IT skills and a high level of professionalism? If you would like to support our ward staff in delivering excellent care to our patients and families then we would love to hear from you.

The Ward Clerk for the Inpatient Unit at Warwick Myton Hospice supports the nursing and clinical staff by carrying out a full range of administrative & clerical duties.

About you

The Ward Clerk role would suit somebody who is:

  • An excellent communicator
  • Flexible, hard working and able to work well as part of a team
  • Able to work well under pressure and prioritise
  • Experienced in administration within a busy healthcare setting
  • Used to dealing with the public in person and over the phone
  • Experienced in working with an electronic patient database
  • Knowledgeable about the role of a Ward Clerk

About The Myton Hospices

The Myton Hospices is an organisation at the forefront of palliative and end of life care across Coventry and Warwickshire and with a national profile. We have 3 hospices, 2 inpatient units and an ever developing range of outpatient and community based services.
