Throughout the year, The Myton Hospices has an action-packed fundraising events diary, with an array of exciting and rewarding volunteering roles to suit everyone! Volunteering at our events is a great way to experience the magical atmosphere of event days! You’ll also get to meet lots of new people and support us in raising vital money! The event fundraising volunteer role is flexible. You chose which event and what volunteering role you want to be involved with. Our event fundraising volunteers are a crucial part of the success of our fundraising events. Without our wonderful volunteers, we couldn’t run such successful events!

Inpatient Unit Volunteer – Warwick Hospice site

In-Patient Unit Hospice volunteers are at the forefront of this essential patient service. They provide vital support to the nursing staff, and facilitate a welcoming and comfortable environment; helping patients to relax, socialise and enjoy their day. A team of two – three volunteers work together on each shift.

Reception Volunteer – Sundays AM and PM Saturday AM – Warwick

As one of our reception volunteers you will be the first port of call and information point for visitors and staff (our customers). You will provide a warm friendly welcome to all visitors to the Hospice, help and support them, especially on their first visit to Myton and leave them with a positive lasting impression

The success of any shop, is through excellent retail practices and good customer service. Our shops generate income so that we can continue to provide care, free of charge, to people in our local community; we do this through maximising sales of the goods donated to us and by promoting the activities of Myton to the public.
