A breast cancer care event is being held on International Women’s Day at Nuneaton Co-operative Sports Club on Dugdale Street. Everyone is welcome to attend from 12pm to 3pm.

You don’t have to have had breast cancer to attend as the event is aimed at raising awareness of the symptoms and treatment, as well as supporting people have experienced breast cancer – both men and women.

  • Everyone can find out more about various health care services from a variety of service providers including The Myton Hospices, St John's Ambulance, Macmillan, Mary Ann Evans Hospice, Crafters 4 Breast Cancer and many more.

Lymph-what-oedema – a non-profit organisation – will also be at the event promoting their work and Lymphoedema Awareness Week which runs from Sunday 4th to Saturday 10th March. The week is aimed at raising awareness for treatment and care of people who have Lymphoedema.

Healthcare professionals who attend will have the opportunity to share ideas and be able to connect with the organisations present and potentially signpost people in their care to appropriate services.
