1st January 2022 - 8th April 2022
No cost, unless you wish to fund your initial £40 campaign kitty.
Use your imagination, business sense and fundraising talents to turn £40 into as much money as possible in our fabulous Take 40 Challenge to celebrate Myton’s 40th anniversary.
What wonderful ways can you come up with to turn £40 into a stash of cash for The Myton Hospices?
To celebrate The Myton Hospices’ 40th Anniversary in 2022, we’re appealing for 40 businesses, schools, organisations and community groups to turn £40 into as much money as possible and help us raise £40,000.
Those signing up will have three months to come up with some fabulous ways to turn the price of a meal out for two into as much money as possible; £1,000, for example, would fund 40 hours of specialist nursing care for our patients living with a terminal illness.
How you choose to work your money-making magic is entirely up to you – and there will be awards for those raising the most money as well as those with the most innovative fundraising ideas.
So it’s time to get your thinking caps on and come up with some great ideas!
Take 40 will launch on Monday 10th January 2022 and run for three months until Friday 8th April – culminating in a fabulous awards ceremony and barbecue in the gardens of Warwick Myton Hospice to celebrate your achievements and the wonderful fundraising you have achieved.
There will be three categories: Education, for schools, colleges, nurseries etc, Community for all community groups and individuals and a final category for Businesses.
Sign up today
Each category will have its own winner for the most money raised and for most innovative fundraising.
And there will be an overall winner for the team making the most money in total.
Yasmin Audhali, Corporate Fundraiser at Myton, said:
“We’re really excited about our fabulous new Take 40 campaign to mark what is a very special year for The Myton Hospices on its 40th anniversary.
“What’s really great about Take 40 is that how you raise the money is entirely up to you, which means it’s a great opportunity to have some fun and do some great fundraising at the same time.
“We can’t wait to see what wonderful things our participants come up with and look forward to what should be a really fun challenge.”
