  • What is the take 50 Challenge?

Not only will 2017 be the seventh year of the Take 50 Challenge it will also be The Myton Hospices’ 35th birthday! To mark our milestone age, we would love to raise £35,000 from this year’s Challenge – this could cover the cost of an in-patient bed for 2 months!

If you have competitive and creative people in your workplace, our annual fundraiser is the ideal way to test their talents and perfect those team building skills. All you have to do is enter a team of 2 or more people, take £50 and turn it into as much as you can in 50 days.

Are you up for the Take 50 challenge?!

To mark the start of the challenge we’ll invite you to a launch evening on 8th February at Warwick Myton Hospice, where you’ll have the chance to mingle with all the teams, share ideas and pick up some useful tips. You’ll also be able to get advice from the fundraising team, who will be on hand to support you. To celebrate the end of the challenge your team will be invited to our awards dinner on 6th April where we’ll present a range of awards to the participating teams.

    The Myton Hospices

In the last 12 months, we have worked with and supported over 2,300 patients and their families across Coventry and Warwickshire. This is in our hospices, via our patient and family support services and in the community through Myton at Home. We have to raise over £8 million each year to continue providing our care. We can’t do it without people like you.

We believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life and that treating patients with dignity and respect is more important than meeting targets. We also know that making someone feel better is not just about medicine – sometimes holding someone’s hand or taking the time to listen to their fears makes the greatest difference.
