  • What do I get with my free entry?


    When you complete the race you will receive your medal and free official Mud 7 T-shirt at the finish line. Mud 7 organisers also provide you with professional event photos.

     

    Where do I get my free Myton T-shirt?


    The Myton Team will be set up in a red Gazebo in the event village on the day. Please check in here once you have registered on the day and collect your T-shirt from us. This is also where we will be doing team photographs before each heat.

     

    What is the minimum age?


    The minimum age to participate is 14 years old.

     

    What facilities are available onsite?


    The facilities on site are:

    • Catering

    • Toilets

    • Secure Key Lockers (fee required)


     

    What should I wear?


    It’s going to be an obstacle race course that takes place in summer. You will get very wet and muddy. Footwear – a lot of people choose to wear lightweight trail running shoes but if you’re worried about damaging your trainers an old pair will do.

     

    Is there car parking?


    There is a carpark available on the day and it will be £5 per car.

     

    Do I need to have raised £100 sponsorship before the event?


    If possible we are asking participants to raise £100 prior to the event as this will help our campaign raise as much as possible for our patients and families. If you signed up late to the event (less than three weeks before) then we understand this may be more difficult. We request that all sponsorship money is paid in full within six weeks of the event date. If you are struggling with your fundraising at any point or want some extra support please do not hesitate to get in touch with us by emailing challengeevents@mytonhospice.org

     

    What do I need to do once I’m signed up? How do I assign myself for my free ticket for the event?


    We have sent your name and email address to the Mudnificent 7 organisers and their ticketing company trumin- please check your emails and junk folders for an email regarding a password reset for your trumin account- this is where you assign yourself your free ticket for the event!

    If you do not do this we cannot guarantee your place for the event. If you are unable to take part for any reason please let us know as we will be charged for all the places that are registered on the system.

     

    I signed-up to take part in 2020 with a FREE Myton place, what do I need to do?


    You do not need to do anything. Your place will automatically be transferred to the 2021 race at the heat time you originally requested. If you would like to double check your heat time, please email challengeevents@mytonhospice.org


    I signed-up to take part in 2020 but I cancelled my place before the event was officially cancelled. Do I still have a Free Myton place in 2021?


    No, but no fear - you can re-register through our website to get your free Myton place again. If you would like to check whether we have you on our records for the 2021 race, please email challengeevents@mytonhospice.org
