Summary:
Over 2,000 challengers will take on the 2020 London Winter Walk through the heart of the Capital, following the Thames, and passing many famous landmarks. A great way to set you up for an active New Year!

- Over 2,000 challengers will take on the 2020 London Winter Walk through the heart of the Capital, following the Thames, and passing many famous landmarks. A great way to set you up for an active New Year!
The start / finish is The Oval Cricket Ground – with 2 Half Marathon distance options:
- 'Eastern Walk' – 21km loop past Tower Bridge to Southwark Park and back. 8-11am start.
- 'Western Walk' – 21km loop heading out to Putney Bridge and returning to The Oval. 8-11am start.
- Or – if you're up for a tough one – join the early start – do both legs, and make it a New Year Full 42km Marathon Walk. 7-8am start.
Free Winter Walk beanie hat & neck buff – snacks & hot drinks stop enroute – medals & hot meal at finish. Join us!
Take on an 'East or West' Half Marathon Walk on Sunday morning. Or if you're up for it - there's a Full Marathon with both loops. A great way to kick start a fitness regime, meet some new friends, or early training if you're on one of our Ultra Challenge events.
From The Kia Oval the 21km Eastern loop heads past Tower Bridge to a Southwark Park rest stop, before heading back to The Oval via a few bridges. If you'd prefer to go West, it's along the Thames Path to a Putney Bridge rest stop then back.
Both loops follow the Thames taking in many landmarks, with a halfway rest stop to stock up on snacks & a warm drink before returning to The Oval for a finish line celebration, medal, and a welcome hot meal.

Pay a low registration fee & do 'lots' of fundraising for a chosen charity. The charity covers your event place cost.

- + at least £245 charity sponsorship
Option 2 - Charity Mixed Funding
Lower charity fundraising target - & you pay half the event self fund cost (chosen charity pays the other half).
