About the role…

We are looking for enthusiastic and cheerful trustworthy people to support our patients within group sessions. Our group sessions are a place for our patients to relax, express them self and again knowledge to aide their diagnoses.

Sometimes the patients are new to the Hospice and therefore can be unsure or anxious attending the group sessions with us.

As a wellbeing support volunteer you will be there to provide assistance to these patients by providing a little extra nurturing,  along side utilising  your specific skills and experience to enhance the patient experience creating a welcoming space for patients within the group.

Key Skills and Qualities 

• Respectful of confidentiality (this is essential)
• A social person who enjoys interacting with others
• Reliable & Trustworthy
