BBC Coventry and Warwickshire broadcast on The Myton Hospices

On Sunday 13th December, BBC Coventry and Warwickshire conducted a radio broadcast from our Warwick Myton Hospice to discuss and capture what life is like at Myton, particularly over the festive period.

The broadcast features interviews with staff and volunteers as well as comments from patients and loved ones who are currently receiving the care and support we provide. During the broadcast we hear from numerous members of staff including Ward Sister of Warwick IPU, Margaret McIntosh, who explains the range of services we provide at Myton for both our patients and their families.

The broadcast also features a member of our Chaplaincy, Stig Graham, describing the pastoral care available across all three of our hospices as well as insight into what it is like to volunteer for Myton and what the role entails from Ian Grant, one of our regular volunteers.

We would like to thank BBC Coventry and Warwickshire for helping us to raise awareness of the services and care we provide as well as highlighting the fundraising events we host each year to help raise money for Myton.
