Collections raise a significant amount of money for The Myton Hospices each year – every penny really does count.
It is thanks to support from our volunteers that we are able to raise this money. There are a number of ways you can collect for Myton depending on how much time you are able or willing to give.
Have a collection box in your place of work
Rather than letting their loose change weigh them down, why not ask colleagues to make a difference by donating any small change to Myton.
Become a collection volunteer
Our community fundraisers are a lively, friendly bunch but they are a small team and there are never enough hours in the day to collect and replace all of the tins we have in the local community. If you could spare just a little time to help our community team they would be delighted to hear from you!
Store and street collections
Are you an approachable, reliable individual who would be willing to collect money on behalf of Myton? We organise regular store and street collections across the region and we are always in need of people who are just as passionate as we are about raising the funds we need to continue running our services today, tomorrow and in years to come.
House to house
We carry out house to house collections each year where we ask people to place collection envelopes through the doors in an area of their choice and then return around a week later to collect the envelopes back in. This may require a few hours of your time but the money raised from your efforts will have a big impact here at Myton.
If you are interested in supporting our work by volunteering for one of our collections, the community team would love to hear from you! Contact the team by emailing Communityteam@mytonhospice.org or calling 01926 838 892.
