Why run for Myton?
Every mile helps fund specialist hospice care
We are the only hospice in Coventry and Warwickshire providing specialist palliative and end of life care, and the only local hospice with inpatient beds.
By taking on the Coventry Half Marathon for Myton, you will be helping us continue to support local people from diagnosis to end of life, whether they are cared for in one of our hospices, through our support services or in the community.
Your £100 pledge is part of something much bigger. It costs more than £15 million every year to provide Myton’s services, and we must raise more than £12 million each year.

The start is on Cox Street, Coventry, CV1 5EF.
The half marathon covers 13.1 miles, taking runners through Coventry City Centre and out towards the surrounding countryside before returning to the city.

Participants must be 18 years or older on race day.
How many free Myton places are available?

Places are limited, so we recommend signing up as soon as possible.
When will I know I definitely have a place in the event?
Once you have raised your first £25, we will send you a pre-paid registration link so you can complete your registration directly with the event organiser.
Your full fundraising pledge is £100, and to take part on the day you must have raised at least £80 by the event date. We then ask that you continue fundraising after the event to reach your full £100 pledge.
It is your responsibility to complete any required registration by the deadline set by the organiser. If you do not complete your registration in time, or have not reached the minimum fundraising requirement, your place may be withdrawn.
How much sponsorship do I need to raise?
We ask each participant to pledge to raise £100 to help The Myton Hospices continue providing services free of charge to patients and families across Coventry and Warwickshire.
We recommend reaching £25 as soon as possible and then reaching £80 by the day of the event, with the remainder paid into your fundraising page within 6 weeks of the event.
What happens if I don’t fundraise?
We ask that you make your best effort to fundraise and engage with the event. Every pound you raise will help The Myton Hospices continue providing its services free of charge to patients and their loved ones across Coventry and Warwickshire.
