You can make a one-off donation or regular donation to Myton in recognition of the care and support your loved one received.

Often families choose to ask for donations to Myton instead of flowers at a funeral, or as a way of saying thank you for the care their loved one received.

We can provide collection boxes and donation envelopes, as well as the option to borrow a contactless card reader to help raise donations on the day. We can also create a personalised poster featuring a photo of your loved one to display alongside the contactless card reader at the wake or celebration.

Create a Forever Loved Online Tribute page

Creating a Forever Loved tribute page through MuchLoved is a special way to remember and celebrate the life of your loved one. Once your tribute page has been created, you can share it with family and friends or let them know the funeral details and give them the opportunity to make a donation to Myton in memory of your loved one, if they wish.

You and others can also add special memories and photos, leave messages of remembrance, and light virtual candles. It is free to create a tribute page and only takes a few moments.

Once in place, your tribute will remain open forever as a meaningful way to honour your loved one’s memory, mark special dates and anniversaries, or continue your fundraising journey in their memory.

A personalised plaque offers a lasting way to remember your loved one within our In Memory Gardens at the hospice. Throughout the year, our gardens provide a peaceful place of reflection for patients and their families, making them a fitting place to remember the people we love.

In return for a donation, a ‘Forever in our Hearts’ plaque can be placed at your chosen Myton hospice, or sent to you for your own garden or home.

One in four of our patients are cared for thanks to gifts left to Myton in Wills. You do not need to be wealthy to make a real difference to people’s lives. Whatever the size, your gift will help us continue caring for our patients and their families.

Choosing to leave a gift in your Will in memory of your loved one is a meaningful way to remember them, and your gift will be recorded in their name.

We hold events throughout the year, with many people choosing to take part and raise money in memory of a loved one.

Alongside a range of active fundraising events and challenges, we also hold our annual Light Up A Life services at each of our three hospice sites every December. These give family and friends the opportunity to come together and remember their loved ones in a candlelit service of remembrance.
