The Myton Hospices calls for more volunteers to support their charity shops across Coventry and Warwickshire

We are looking for more volunteers to join our amazing retail team at several of our Myton charity shops.

Our charity shops currently fund the care of 1 in 4 of our patients, but we can only continue to do this with the support of our incredible volunteers. Every item sold, every donation sorted and every customer served helps fund the compassionate care we provide for people living with life-limiting illnesses and their families across Coventry and Warwickshire.

By giving your time, you’re helping to ensure more people can access the care they need and deserve, when they need it most.

Whether you can spare a few hours a week or more, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re currently looking for volunteers at:

Smithford Way, Coventry - We’re looking for volunteers and can be flexible across all days and times.

Radford, Coventry – Volunteer support is needed throughout the week, with flexible opportunities available.

Cannon Park, Coventry – We’re particularly looking for help on Wednesday and Friday afternoons, as well as across the weekend.

Shipston – Flexible volunteering opportunities are available across all days and times.

Rugby Central – We’d love to hear from anyone who can support us at any time during the week.

Bedford Street, Leamington Spa – We’re currently seeking volunteers for Sunday mornings, as well as Tuesday and Friday afternoons.

Anil Gupta, Head of Retail & Trading at The Myton Hospices, said:

Our charity shops are such an important part of The Myton Hospices, not only raising vital funds but also giving people a way to directly support their local community.

Every volunteer plays a crucial role, whether they’re sorting donations, serving customers or helping create welcoming spaces for shoppers.

We simply couldn’t do it without them. Volunteering with Myton is a great way to make a real difference and help ensure ore people can access the care they need and deserve.

Volunteering in our shops is a great way to meet new people, build confidence, learn new skills, and be part of something meaningful, all while helping to support families across our community.

However much time you can give, it really does make a difference. Join Team Myton today and help us continue making every moment matter.
