Costs and fundraising
Choose the payment option that works for you
There are two ways to fund your challenge. Whichever option you choose, your support will help The Myton Hospices continue providing specialist care to local people and their loved ones.
Option 1
Self-funder
- £495 non-refundable registration fee when booking
- £2,120 final challenge balance due 21st August 2027
- Air tax and fuel contribution due 21st August 2027, capped at £250
- You will also be asked to raise a minimum of £500 for The Myton Hospices
Because you are covering the full cost of the challenge yourself, 100% of the money you fundraise is retained by The Myton Hospices.
Option 2
Minimum sponsorship
- £495 non-refundable registration fee when booking
- Raise a minimum of £4,240 for The Myton Hospices
- At least £3,392 (80%) must be with Myton by 7th August 2027
- The remaining £848 (20%) must be with Myton by 5th December 2027
- Air tax and fuel contribution due 21st August 2027, capped at £250
Once the required fundraising has been received, Myton will pay the balance of your expedition costs, which will not exceed 49% of the minimum sponsorship target. Myton retains the remaining sponsorship, along with every pound you raise above your target.
