About the role…
The Myton Hospices believe everyone should live well towards the end of their life and have the right to a good, natural death, the way they want it to be, where they want it to be and with their loved ones supported.
Funded by Macmillan until May 2026 and working as part of the Coventry Citizens Advice team, the Myton Hospices Finance and Benefits Adviser will provide holistic support to patients and their families who are receiving care and support in the Inpatient Units at both the Coventry and Warwick sites.
The postholder will work with the hospice multidisciplinary team receiving referrals from the clinical team, providing initial support on areas including benefits, income maximisation, housing and employment issues, undertaking case work and advocacy on behalf of individuals.
This role is an integral element of the Hospice’s wider aim to provide high quality holistic care and support to enhance the quality of life and wellbeing for patients; promoting dignity, individual choice and support for their families/carers.
