About the role

Our Myton At Home Service provides palliative and end of life care in the community.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a confident, enthusiastic and highly motivated registered nurse to join us as a Senior Staff Nurse Myton at Home.

      • You will liaise and work collaboratively with all staff in the Myton Hospices, and external NHS organisations to ensure the patient and their carer receive safe and high-quality care.

You will undertake holistic palliative care assessments and identifying a management plan covering all identified needs of the patient and their families in conjunction with the community key worker (Clinical Nurse Specialist, GP, District Nurses).

You will provide physical, psychological, social and spiritual care for patients and carers.

You will monitor and assess symptoms and facilitate effective symptom relief by:

  1. Reporting promptly to the community key worker
  2. Administering symptom relief medication as per prescription, policy and in line with community guidance and Myton Hospice policies and procedures.

About you

We would love to hear from you if you have:

However you identify, and whatever background you bring with you, we welcome you to apply. We particularly welcome applications from people with disabilities and from ethnic minorities, who are currently under-represented in our hospices.
