Help us make a difference to people with life-limiting illnesses…

At The Myton Hospices, we provide specialist care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses, and their loved ones, from the point of diagnosis to end of life. We are a much-loved and well supported charity, at the heart of our community. We have three hospices, a range of community services, and 26 charity shops in Coventry and Warwickshire.

About the role

We are seeking a proven leader with a solid background in CRM management, to not only take ownership of our fundraising CRM but also lead our Donor & Supporter Care Team, as our Database & Supporter Care Manager.

On one hand, you’ll drive innovation and best practice in data management, overseeing system migrations and data analysis, ensuring integrity and compliance, while unlocking insights that help drive fundraising growth.

On the other hand, you’ll lead and develop a team of Donor & Supporter Care Assistants, oversee Gift Aid, and ensure an outstanding supporter experience.

As our Database & Supporter Care Manager, your activities will include:

  • Ensuring accurate and compliant data capture in our fundraising CRM
  • Leading and providing training and guidance to the Donor & Supporter Care Team
  • Analysing donor behaviour and campaign performance
  • Providing actionable insights that improve stewardship, retention and income growth
  • Managing Gift Aid claims, ensuring compliance and maximising income
  • Collaborating with Fundraising, Marketing, Finance and external partners, to align data insights with campaigns, reporting and supporter engagement
  • Exploring new technologies, including automation, to improve reporting, data analysis & supporter experience

This role will support our work by ensuring we make the most of our data to grow income, deliver exceptional supporter experiences, and drive innovation across fundraising and engagement.

This is a hybrid working role, mostly based in the office at our Warwick Hospice with some home working and occasional travel to Coventry, Rugby or off-site Fundraising events. It is full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, usually 9-5).

About you

We are seeking an individual with:

  • Experience managing and implementing CRM systems in a charity or fundraising environment
  • Strong data analysis skills, including the ability to translate complex donor data into clear insights that inform strategy and stewardship
  • Experience of data migrations, including ensuring accuracy, integrity and smooth transitions
  • A solid understanding of data legislation and governance, including best practice in supporter data management
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present technical and data insights in a clear and engaging way
  • A collaborative approach (able to work effectively across departments and with external partners)

You might have experience as a CRM Manager, Data Manager, Insight Manager, Supporter Care Manager, or Donor Relations Manager.

You will need to be able to travel within the Coventry & Warwickshire area occasionally.

We are committed to building an inclusive workplace and encourage everyone to bring their true selves to work. However you identify, and whatever background you bring with you, we welcome you to apply. If there are any adjustments that would help improve your experience with Myton, we encourage you to share this with us.

We particularly welcome applications from people with disabilities and from ethnic minorities, who are currently under-represented in our hospices. We also believe our interview process should be inclusive and transparent. If there is anything missing, or a way we can improve, please do let us know.
