Thank you so much to everyone who joined us at this year’s Walk for Myton!
You braved the blustery winds and intermittent downpours and turned the day into one filled with fun and fundraising. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

We were thrilled to see over 690 of you lace up your walking boots, take on your chosen route and set off into the beautiful Warwickshire countryside.
Thanks to your amazing support, so far, over an incredible £71,000 has already been raised – with even more sponsorship still coming in!
Walkers took on the scenic 3, 6 or 13.1 mile routes alongside friends, family and four-legged companions. Afterwards, we welcomed everyone back to the lovely grounds of Warwick Myton Hospice for a well-earned BBQ and entertainment.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without some truly brilliant people.
Our photographers, Naveed, Agnes, Dylan, and Daniel, braved the weather to capture wonderful memories of the day.

See if you can spot yourself in the gallery below!
We were also treated to fantastic live music from Nick Ransford, Grace, Transition and Paul Wyllie, who kept spirits high throughout the event.
A huge thank you goes to Ted and Ed from The Engine Inn pub in Kenilworth for preparing such a delicious BBQ for everyone to enjoy.
We are also very grateful to Myton School, Warwick School and Warwick Children’s Services for kindly allowing us to use their car parks, and to local supermarkets for donating refreshments to keep participants fuelled along the way.
We'd also like to thank Warwick District Council for all their help and support.

We’re especially thankful to our sponsor, Playground Games, whose generous support helps us make events like this possible for hundreds of people.
And last, but by no means least, we want to recognise our incredible volunteers, both at the hospice and out on the route, who cheered walkers on, kept everyone fed and hydrated, and ensured the day ran smoothly from start to finish.

This year, it will cost £15.3 million to continue providing our services free of charge to our patients and their loved ones. We are a charity, not the NHS, and only 17% of our funding comes from the NHS, meaning we have to raise £12.7 million – that’s more than £1 million each month!
We would like to thank everyone who took part in this year’s Walk for Myton for your incredible support. We couldn’t provide our vital services without people like you.
We can’t wait to see you at another Myton event soon!
