Without our wonderful staff (and volunteers!) Myton wouldn’t be the amazing place that we know it to be, and that our patients and families regularly tell us it is. Everyone has a role to play and over the last few weeks we have been celebrating just some of the people who make our work possible.
Cohort four of our Leadership course saw nine members of staff successfully complete a range of modules, over a six month period, including...
Managing your Teams Health and Wellbeing, Employment Law, Managing Performance, Having Difficult Conversations, Building your Team, Coaching, and Governance.
On 16th January at Coventry Myton Hospice we held our Staff Long Service Awards and celebrated those that have worked at Myton for five, 10 and 15 years.
There was lots of clapping and cheering as each person collected their award from our CEO, Ruth Freeman, and Chair of Trustees, Noel Hunter. Not everyone could attend the event but all staff who reached these special milestones will receive a certificate and commemorative pin badge.
Marketing and Communication’s team member Luc Ord has celebrated passing his Level 4 Digital Marketing qualification!

On completing his apprenticeship he successfully applied for a permanent role in the team and is continuing to expand his marketing skills and knowledge.
