Every year, our devoted Coventry Myton Hospice Support Group host a Christmas fayre at Coventry Myton Hospice.
The support group have worked very hard over the last few months to make sure the Coventry Christmas Fayre was even bigger and better than last year.
True to the characteristics of a traditional Christmas fayre, visitors could test their luck on a number of different tombolas or the festive raffle. Throughout the event, visitors also had the opportunity to purchase a selection of delicious refreshments, from warm pork rolls to homemade cakes.
This year’s Coventry Christmas Fayre also featured exciting entertainment including an appearance by local magician, David Fillary, who baffled visitors with his magic tricks. Pupils from Good Shepherd School and Kayleigh Hill Dance Academy also joined us to perform songs and a dance routine on the day.
To make sure that our young supporters felt very welcome at this year’s event, the support group organised a face painting stall and a visit from United Theatre’s Sleeping Beauty. Father Christmas even stopped by to say hello!
We are thrilled to announce that this year’s Coventry Christmas Fayre has raised an amazing £3464.14 for Myton which is £600 more than last year’s total!
We would like to say a huge thank you to the Coventry Myton Hospice Support Group for not only raising this amazing amount but also for working so hard all year round to help us generate the income we need to continue providing our services.
We would also like to thank all those who attended this year’s event, the volunteers who helped out on the day and Tesco Cross Point and Dairy Crest for donating items for this year’s Coventry Christmas Fayre.
