On Saturday 1st July, our Coventry Support Group hosted their annual Summer Fayre at Coventry Myton Hospice. The support group have worked very hard over the past few months to organise an event which featured plenty of games and tasty refreshments from face painting and basket tombola to raffles and cake stalls.
The fantastic work of the support group, and the generosity of everyone who held a stall, volunteered and visited our Coventry Hospice has made this year’s fayre another record breaker raising over £600 more than last year!
We would like to thank everyone involved for their support which enables us to continue providing our services.
Myton Community Fundraiser, Claire McDowell, said: “On behalf of out Coventry Support Group we would like to thank everyone who volunteered, made cakes ,donated items and attended the Summer Fayre on Saturday in Coventry.
“The Fayre was a great success and I am delighted to say that a fantastic £3,148 was raised on the day, which is an amazing achievement. It was lovely to see so many people enjoying the refreshments, cake stalls, face painting and tombola’s.
“Our Support Group work tirelessly throughout the year raising funds for us and we really can’t thank them enough for all their hard work and dedication.”
