Staff from The Myton Hospices’ Senior Leadership Team, Spiritual & Pastoral Care team, Lottery, Marketing & Communications, Day Hospices and Catering team soaked up the sunshine and atmosphere at this year’s Coventry Pride Festival!
This was the first year we have had a stand at Coventry Pride, and we can’t wait to return next year! Our staff had the opportunity to talk to a variety of visitors, and other stall holders, about our services as well as hearing people’s thoughts about hospice care. The festival’s slogan ‘just being me’ resonated with us; this is how we approach care at Myton, taking each person as an individual and tailoring our support to their needs.

It was really nice to see such a mix of people and ages coming together to celebrate life and diversity. It was a great day with a fantastic atmosphere; there was live music and drag queens, and everyone just embraced the festival spirit! We weren’t there to fundraise but people were donating to us and talking about their experiences of Myton which is always appreciated and special to hear.
