Edward Barber has raised £692.55 for The Myton Hospices by running every day in January!

Personal trainer Edward decided he would kick start 2018 with a new fitness challenge – to run every day in January! And with the support of his colleagues and clients at the Chesford Grange in Kenilworth, he decided he would try to raise some money for a local charity along the way.

Despite a few blisters he hopped on the treadmill or hit the open road every day in January and ran 280km in total!

Edward said:

I was aiming for 10km a day and even ran for the first few days of February but my ankle eventually gave in! The minimum I ran was 3km but the rest of the time I was managing 6km or over. I love running anyway and apart from some blisters I found it a really nice thing to do; some members of the club would keep me company if I was doing a run on the treadmill.

We haven’t done anything for charity at work for a while so I thought it would be nice to give this a real push. I chose Myton as it’s a local charity and one of my colleagues has a personal connection to it.

A huge Thank you to Edward...

Thank you so much to Edward for choosing to support Myton and for raising such a fantastic amount!
