We have been spreading some festive cheer to our patients, their families, our staff and volunteers at our Warwick Myton Hospice Inpatient Unit. And on 17th December we invited them all to join us for some Christmas fun!
This yuletide celebration was generously organised by our wonderful friends at Playground Games, who went above and beyond by organising the festive fun day and decking our halls with stunning decorations for everyone to enjoy. They also provided a Christmas tree for each patient’s room.
Working with Calley, our Activities Coordinator, our patients have made beautiful festive tree toppers and their creativity has ensured our Inpatient Unit feels truly magical this Christmas!
The special day was filled with beautiful carols as talented singers treated us to a selection of classic Christmas songs and our patients and visitors were able to enjoy warm refreshments and mince pies. Patients, families, and staff also took part in festive craft activities, making keepsakes to capture the magic of the season and create lasting memories.
