John Powell and Tom Mountain rowed the equivalent distance of going from Coventry to Worcester and back, all to raise money for Myton! Starting at 7am and finishing just before 5pm, and with the help of 8 other rowers, John and Tom raised £1124!
John and Tom are both from Rugby and wanted to show support for their local hospice whilst raising vital funds.
They said:
The row went really well and we had some great support from the other rowers: Martin Shaw, Robert Crofts, Becki Barnett, Josh Barnett, Chris Smith, Tom Quinlan, Charlotte Smith and Neal McGrath. We want to thank Rugby School Sports Centre for letting us take over their foyer and everybody who donated.
