Join The Myton Hospices on Tuesday 27th November as we attempt to raise £3,000 which would be enough to support a Myton at Home nurse to visit a patient at home throughout December!

On Tuesday 27th November The Myton Hospices is hoping to perform something of a Christmas miracle by raising £3,000 in just 24 hours! This would be enough to support a Myton at Home nurse to visit a patient at home throughout December!

We are joining charities across the globe in the world’s biggest one-day fundraising campaign which aims to encourage people to donate to those in need, at a time of year when many of us are thinking about giving and receiving presents and buying extra-special treats for the festive season.

Sadly life limiting and terminal illnesses don’t stop for Christmas, and neither does Myton; we try to ensure that people and their families can enjoy the festive period together as much as possible, at home or in our hospices, and do our best to make what might be their last Christmas together extra-special.

We need to raise £9.6 million to continue providing our services free of charge, 365 days a year and we can’t do it without people like you!

#GivingTuesday is on 27th November and we will be encouraging people to donate via our social media pages, as well as sending out an email reminder on the day! For those who want to show their support a little earlier you can find our campaign online by clicking here.

How you can help before the big day

Last year many of you helped spread our message through a Thunderclap which was seen by a staggering 262,780 people! This was crucial to the success in us reaching our target and we cannot thank you all enough!

This year we have created something very similar, known as Pack which will allow you to share our message with all of your friends and family on social media letting them know you are thinking of Myton this upcoming #GivingTuesday!

We would love it if you would join our wolf pack below - you'll be able to customise our message if you want to and will be notified when it is time to help Myton by sharing with your family and friends!
