On Thursday 28th September 27 teams enjoyed 18 holes of golf at Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Course to raise money for The Myton Hospices. The teams were well fed throughout the day, starting with hot drinks and a bacon roll and refuelled with cakes, crisps, fruit and drinks halfway round the course. The day was a resounding success; the sun had got its hat on and the golfers raised such an amazing amount, whilst really enjoying the day and night!

Congratulations to ‘Team Karen’ – who entered their team in memory of a loved one – who came first overall on the course winning watches and a trophy. In second and third place, winning golf bags, umbrellas and other golfing items, were ‘Tollbar Tigers’ and ‘The Tractor Boys’. Teams who won the ‘nearest the pin’ competitions were rewarded with champagne, Titleist Velocity golf balls and 4ball vouchers.

The day featured a raffle with prizes ranging from wine, champagne and whiskey to branded gilet’s, luxury golf balls and 4ball vouchers from a range of courses around Warwickshire, as well as Mr Karting vouchers, thermal flasks and chocolates.
Followed by...
The day of golf was followed by an evening meal and auction which featured prizes including a trip to Cyprus, tickets to watch Wasps RFC, Free Radio Live tickets, vintage whiskies and more.
