We were lucky enough to be joined by 17 fantastic teams of supporters at Coventry Golf Club for this year’s The Myton Hospice’s Golf Day, and not even the typically British drizzly rain could dampen their spirits.
With a great atmosphere and fierce competition, an incredible £16,000 was raised for Myton!
The day was enjoyed by all, with several competitions taking place throughout the course. Every team worked their hardest to win the Hole in One prize of £10,000… though no one was lucky enough (but congratulations to the golfer who got 10 yards away! So close but so far!). We also hosted a Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive competition.
Before hitting the course, our golfers fuelled up with tea or coffee and a bacon sandwich! And to ensure their clubs were in the very best condition to win the competitions, they also had the opportunity to get them cleaned by Club Clean.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and congratulations to the top three teams! Well done to ‘LJJ Ltd’ for coming in first, ‘Fore for Fran’ for securing second place, and ‘They don’t know do they’ for landing third!
After the golf, the teams were welcomed back to the club house for a delicious two-course meal and auction.
Of course, we couldn’t host such a successful event without the help of countless incredible people and businesses.
We’d like to say a big thank you to InExpress Coventry for being our headline sponsor. The team were amazing and supplied each golfer with the very best goody bag! Thank you for your continued support!

Special thanks also have to go to A&J Audhali Fresh Farm Foods for sponsoring Club Clean and the nail-biting Hole in One competition.
Our hole sponsors were TFS Solicitors, Tyler Packaging and Truly Content. Thank you for your fabulous support!
We were so fortunate to have such great prizes up for grabs at the auction, including a VIP Warwick Races experience, an overnight stay in the Cotswolds, a signed Tiger Woods picture and much more!
Thank you to Warwick Race Course, Rural Retreats, Samphire Security, Riverside Stratford and everyone who donated and sponsored these fantastic prizes, including One Stop Balsall Common who were also the prize sponsors!

The amazing Neil from Whatees donated Myton branded tees and pencils to each golfer. Don’t they look incredible!

Last, but definitely not least, we’d like to say a big thank you to Martin Sutliff, the pro golfer at Coventry Golf Club for his guidance and conducting on the day and for doing such a great job as auctioneer!
