Today is Volunteer Recognition Day and we want to say a massive thank you to all of our incredible volunteers – without you our work wouldn’t be possible!
We are fortunate enough to have hundreds of volunteers who give their time freely to Myton across a huge variety of roles; in our hospices, shops and at our events.
Last month we celebrated just some of these amazing people at our Volunteer Long Service Awards in recognition of the contribution they have made to Myton. And unbelievably as we celebrate 40 years of The Myton Hospices we also celebrate some long standing volunteers who have been with us from day one.
We were joined by our CEO Ruth Freeman and Chair of Trustees, Karl Demian who presented our volunteers with certificates for their service.
