This Dying Matters Awareness Week, we are inviting you in to our Rugby Myton Support Hub to find out more about the services we offer and how we may be able to support you and your loved ones, now or in the future.

Dying Matters Awareness Week encourages people to get talking about death and dying in whatever way, shape or form works for them. Taking place from 6th – 12th May, Dying Matters Awareness Week helps communities around the UK to come together to have conversations about end of life, whether with healthcare professionals, family, friends or colleagues.

At The Myton Hospices we believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life, we focus on enhancing life when cure is no longer an option; supporting people living with a life-limiting illness, and their families, right from the point of diagnosis to end of life.

We will be offering a tour and talk to give our local community an opportunity to see what we do. We would love you to come along on Tuesday 7th May at Rugby Myton Support Hub 10am-12pm.

The Myton Hospices - Dying Matters Awareness Week

There will be an opportunity to meet the team, have a tour of the hub and ask any questions you might have. You can find us on the grounds of St Cross Hospital and there is some free parking available. Places are limited so you will need to book. Please arrive promptly for the start of the session.

A short presentation about our services will be delivered by our Equity & Inclusion Officer, Kate Blackford, and Communications Assistant, Laura Dadson.

We are excited to host our Talk & Tour again after our successful sessions throughout 2023. Take a look at what previous attendees thought:

I didn’t realise there was so much [at Myton] and so many different services, above and beyond the end of life care.

An excellent, comforting tour of the extensive work carried out, and the important emphasis on not just end of life care.

[The Talk & Tour] took the mystery out of a hospice. I could imagine myself here when the time arises.
