Time is running out to secure your place at the Midlands’ biggest and most magical Moonlight Walk, as we issue a final call for participants to join us.
Taking place on Friday 17th April at Warwick Castle, the much-loved Moonlight Walk will see thousands of supporters come together for an unforgettable evening of fun, friendship and fundraising through the historic streets of Warwick.
With a choice of 5km or 10km routes, the night promises laughter, music and special moments. Whether you’re walking to support your local hospice, enjoy a memorable evening with loved ones, or remember someone close to your heart, you will be part of something that will truly make a difference.
Jane, who received care at Warwick Myton Hospice, shared her experience of the support provided by Myton:
For the care, support and service we’ve all received, I’d pay a fortune for this – it’s worth its weight in gold. I could’ve spent thousands of pounds on private care and it still wouldn’t have been as good as Myton. I’ve been treated with kindness, respect and dignity from the moment I arrived. I feel so privileged to have experienced this. It’s like I won the golden ticket.
Of course it’s under horrible circumstances, but I wouldn’t have missed this for the world. The cancer will inevitably take me, but the memories we’ve made at Myton will stay with my family forever.
Following last year’s record-breaking success, this year we’re aiming to raise £250,000, which could fund the recruitment, training and salary of five nurses for a year. Every step taken and every pound raised will help us continue supporting people, like Jane, when they need us most.
