The Myton Hospices is thrilled to have been chosen as one of Coventry City Football Club’s Charities of the Year for the 2017/18 season!

And it is all thanks to you, our wonderful supporters, who voted for us! Of the 800 public votes received, Myton clocked up over 500; this is testament to the incredible support for Myton in the local community.

The partnership means our logo will appear on the Academy shirts for the Under 11s team, the match day scoreboard, match day programme and the Coventry City FC website. The partnership is especially exciting for Myton’s Director of Finance and Facilities, Gemma Morgan, whose son plays in the Under 11s team!

Gemma said: “The Coventry City Football Club partnership is fantastic news for Myton! My son plays for CCFC Academy Under 11’s team and it will be absolutely amazing to see him and his friends wearing the Myton butterfly on their kit!

Ruth Freeman, Chief Executive for The Myton Hospices added: “This is a fantastic opportunity to help us raise awareness and vitals funds to continue providing our services free of charge to the people of Coventry and Warwickshire. We are really looking forward to building great relationships with Coventry City Football Club and its players and supporters. Thank you to everyone who voted for us, we really appreciate your support.

Myton will also have the chance to raise money with a bucket collection at a first team match day at the Ricoh Arena.

Thank you to all of our amazing supporters who helped make this happen!
